We are proud to present this sound, striking dog to the fancy, co-owned with Shannalee of Akadia Shelties. BISS Ch. Oreo includes in his pedigree several generations of Clan Duncan dogs from our "old" past, that we had thought might be lost to the future forever: Powder Blue, Cobalt, Puff of Smoke, Mtn Bluebird, Paris Lights, and so on. So to us, Oreo embodies both past and future --"double stuff" indeed. He is CERF normal-eyed and OFA Excellent. Oreo has a couple of litters growing up in the Intermountain West, and we plan to use him ourselves very soon.

Meet Galen, our exciting young tri boy by Thunder Run ex the tri Ghost Girl, Dark Moon. Galen is co-owned and co-bred with Cherden. From the very first, Galen has been a keeper simply because he is so very, very intelligent -- a quality of high importance to us. Also important to us is the targeted power of his oldline pedigree, with his tail-male line going straight to Pow, and the rare tail-female line lining straight through Pow's dam to Timberidge Crown Jewel. Add to this Galen's other good qualities, and you have our kind of boy. Galen is CERF normal-eyed, Von Willebrand's disease clear by parentage, and will be test for OFA when he returns to us. He has 5 pts to date.

Here is Freddie, another exciting young fellow by Thunder Run. Freddie's dam is one of the blue Ghost Girls, Ramona (Clan Duncan Cherden Full Moon). Freddie has just come home from stays at Davishall and at Rodnstaff Shelties and Compass Shelties, so I guess he has done a tour of the South! He is now growing a fresh coat like gangbusters. Watch for him at the shows in winter/spring. Freddie is a smaller one, excelling in general enthusiasm! Freddie is proven, CERF normal-eyed, Von Willebrand's disease clear by parentage, and is on our list to get his OFA done. He is part of our "Fab Four" litter that includes Freddie, Frankie, Rachel, and Glitter. Freddie's first litter (at Compass Shelties) is lovely; click the button below to see them. Meet our young Davy, Clan Duncan Ship of the Line. Davy is by Ch. Bellevue's Shipp in the Night ex Clan Duncan Luna Moth (Freddie's litter sister) and was co-bred with Davishall. Davy is CERF normal and too young for OFA. We are very pleased to introduce this elegant puppy to the fancy; he is linebred to the old Banchory greats, an "oldline" pedigree brought up to current times. Currently Davy is in Tucson with new co-owner Maureen Metzger of Maramet. Watch for him in the southwest!

Meet Flying Clouds (also known as Chubby Checker), pictured above during an informal backyard photo session. Chubby is a son of our old Blue Sky and Royal Oaks Deja Vu. This 15 1/2" non-white-factored, richly colored fellow might be just the thing to temper tendencies toward blues that are too white and too pale. We co-own Chubby with Amanda Renteria in Arkansas, where he lives. Chubby is CERF normal-eyed and Von Willebrand clear by parentage. His parents are pictured below. Watch for him out in the southeast. His younger brother, Greggie (Clan Duncan Clearwater), is the sire of our beautiful Sita, Clan Duncan Star of India. Chubby's litter sister, Verity, can be seen on the Girls Page, as well as his younger sister, Martie.

Blue is now thirteen and a half years old and is no longer offered at stud. His sons Chubby and Greggie have taken over for him. Blue is by Multi-Can. BIS Can. Ch. Whitegates Beam Me Up (Far Out Frisco son) x Caviar's Blue Iris at Manta (linebred old Banchory including several x our favorite Ch. Banchory Thunder Blue ROM). Blue is OFA Good, VWB clear non-carrier, and CERF normal-eyed. Some of Blue's other offspring pictured on these pages include our girls Ramona, Rowena, Rebecca, Martie, and Verity. He is sound, and has given us several hard-to-get combinations of characteristics: short back with long neck, full muzzle with lean backskull, sturdiness with lasting refinement. In old age, Blue still sees and hears well and is strong, fertile, and robustly healthy, a good foundation to have built upon.
