Here is young Asher, pictured at his first show, the 2010 ASSA National. Asher is by Ch. Lacewood the Star Maker ex Royal Oaks Wisprs Dual Dream (a daughter of Am/Can. Ch. Glamoor's Capture the Image, "Sting"). Asher lives with his co-breeder, co-owner at Windance Shelties. He just turned one year old, so currently is home waiting to "change his clothes." He will be in the ring when his adult fur comes in. Asher is CERF normal, too young for OFA, VWB test pending. He is hoping for girlfriends!

Meet Ch. Galen, our exciting, specialty winning tri boy by Cherden Thunder Run ex the tri Ghost Girl, Dark Moon. From the very first, Galen has been a keeper simply because he is so very, very intelligent -- a quality of high importance to us. Also important to us is the targeted power of his oldline pedigree, with his tail-male line going straight to Pow, and the rare tail-female line lining straight through Pow's dam to Timberidge Crown Jewel. Galen's litter sister is Ch. Grace (on the Girls Page). He is sound, sound, sound, and we love his eye and expression. Add to this Galen's other good qualities, and you have our kind of boy. Galen is CERF normal-eyed, OFA Good, proven, non-white factored, and Von Willebrand's disease clear by parentage.

Here is Freddie, another exciting tri fellow by Thunder Run. Freddie's dam is one of the Ghost Girls, Ramona (Clan Duncan Cherden Full Moon). Freddie is a smaller one, excelling in outline and balance, movement and legs, and general enthusiasm! Freddie is a specialty winner, too. He is proven, non-bi-factored, non-white-factored,CERF normal-eyed, Von Willebrand's disease clear by parentage, and OFA Good. He is part of our "Fab Four" litter that includes Freddie, Frankie, Rachel (8 pts), and Glitter. Freddie, like Galen, carries the tail-male pedigree line straight to Pow and the tail-female pedigree line through Pow's dam to Crown Jewel. Freddie is co-owned with Davishall Shelties in Louisiana.

Oreo includes in his pedigree several generations of Clan Duncan dogs from our "old" past, that we had thought might be lost to the future forever: Powder Blue, Cobalt, Puff of Smoke, Mtn Bluebird, Paris Lights, and so on. So to us, Oreo embodies both past and future --"double stuff" indeed. He is proven, non-white-factored, CERF normal-eyed, and OFA Excellent. There is an Oreo litter at Clan Duncan, and we are quite excited about it. Oreo is ten years old, so use him while you can!

Here is Diego, so named because he is always exploring with his sister, Dora the Explorer. He is by Ch. Lacewood the Star Maker ex Clan Duncan Constellation and is pictured at 8 months. Diego is also litter brother to our beautiful Andromeda. He is currently in his one-year shed, but you will see him in the ring next year. Diego is a beautifully balanced, non-white-factored and elegant smaller one. We are thrilled with his quality and with his brain power. Time's Arrow is the concept in formal physics that describes time's trajectory -- that the nature of time is always to go forward, always forward. We thought it a fitting name for this special bi-black boy. Tests are pending. He is hoping for girlfriends, too!

Meet a long-distance boy! We don't have a formal photo of Ichabod yet, but wanted you to see him and to announce that he is now part of the clan. Ichabod is a son from Ch. Freddie's first litter and comes to us courtesy of Compass Shelties. Ichabod's dam is Compass Sea of Love, a daughter of Ch. Rodnstaff Love Conquers All. I had admired Ichabod from his baby photos. Being a Halloween-lover, I think it might be fate that a dog with such a name should be part of Clan Duncan. Ichabod is co-owned with and currently residing at Rodnstaff Shelties in Tennessee. He has not been shown as yet. Ichabod is proven, tests pending.

Coming up is puppy Matt, by our Ch. Freddie son Clan Duncan River Styx. Mattie's dam is Int. Ch. Calypso Tropicalia (seen on the Girls Page); he is co-bred with Marilyn Ryan in Washington. Mattie's pedigree brings in some of our old dogs, and he has a sparkling personality, very nice movement, and the most beautiful eye and coat color. Tests are pending. Mattie is totally a water dog! He is a small one, but stands out in a crowd.
